Officer: Sir, did you know that it’s illegal to walk across the street downtown Los Angeles?
Dude: But, officer, I was in the crosswalk.
Officer: As your foot moved from the curb to the crosswalk pavement, the crosswalk signal was blinking red. It’s a very serious offense.
Dude: (hangs head)
